Devaprayag in Rishikesh

Devaprayag: 70 km from Rishikesh on the road to Badrinath is an ancient shrine Devaprayag, at the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirath. It is an old temple of Adi Shankracharya settled here, enshrining Rama (Raghunatha). There are also Hanuman Temple, Badrinath, Kaal Bhairav and Shiv. Brahma Dasharatha and Rama are here to worship.
