Hari-ki-Pauri in Haridwar
Hari-ki-Pauri: The main ghat in Haridwar, known as Hari-ki-Pauri (With a footprint of Vishnu on a stone in the wall) is located in the vicinity Gangadwara Temple, the largest of several temples that dot this city. Also important are the Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Pawan Dham Temple and Lal Mata Temple, a perfect replica of the Vaishno Devi Temple in Kashmir. Ganga Arti, which is carried out every night, is a extravagant sight. Aarti ceremony is to be performed in all temples in Haridwar at the same time. Lamps and flowers are offered immediately after the river Ganga Aarti.
