Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi

Vishwanath Temple: 155 km from Rishikesh on the banks of the Ganges, Uttarkashi, an important stop on the way north to Mangold Dham. There are many temples, the most important Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Shiva. Gateway to the Dham Badirnath Joshi Mutt is the home of the first established Adi Shankracharya. Narasimha Temple Vasudeva, and was built by Adi Shankracharya.
