Tripura

Tripura – This hill State criss-crossed by many mountain rivers had a culture that is a mixture of tribal and Bengali, an example of communal harmony. For centuries ruled by the benevolent tribal dynasty of Manikya kings, Tripura still has many a relic of royal rule.

Tripura- Capital. Legislative Assembly which once was the Ujjayant Palace of the Manikya kings, is supposed to stand on one sq km. Tripura government museum Nearby are Sipahijala Botanical Garden, Tripura Sundari temple, the water palace of Neer Mahal, Colossal rock cut Hindu deities at Undakoti, Buddhist sculptures at Pilak.
